On June 27, 2019, Estelle Chauveau, data scientist, and Maxime Debert, submarine Combat Management System architect, received an award thanks to the ambition and interest of their project: aiming to optimize the route of underwater vehicles' evasion.
The objective was twofold: to provide decision support to operators and to contribute to the global roadmap aiming at the decision-making autonomy of drones.
A first version was made at the end of 2020, with the objective of a future industrialization. Thanks to the “La Pérouse” award, Estelle and Maxime were able to devote part of their activity by surrounding themselves with renowned scientific institutions to support them on the advanced theoretical aspects of stochastic optimal control, such as Inria Bordeaux Sud-Ouest and the Australian Flinders University.
