Naval Group's multidisciplinary Scientific council is made up of fourteen internationally renowned scientific figures in their field of expertise and brings together five different nationalities.

The Scientific council is a real input for the future of Naval Group, providing advisory opinions whose aim is to push the group's innovative capacity towards breakthroughs that will make a difference. Naval Group organises working groups whose mission, under the guidance of the Scientific Council, is to select subjects of scientific and technical interest on ambitious themes such as materials, radio beams, energy, foresight, digital simulation and simplexity.

The Scientific council feeds the reflections of the foresight plan which projects the group into 2040. It helps to identify what is truly transformative and to answer fundamental questions for the future of Naval Group: what will our customers' needs be? What product and service offerings and technologies for which markets will be available tomorrow? What impact will geostrategic developments have on our business?
